Cycle Toronto's interactive Street Smarts workshops cover the benefits of commuting by bicycle, laws that govern cyclists and motorists, techniques for safe street riding, basic bike maintenance, and how to fix a flat tire. We also provide copies of our Toronto Cyclists Handbook and bike maps where possible.
Join us on a Saturday afternoon to learn about cycling in the city, try your hand at fixing a flat, and find out about getting involved in advocating about local cycling issues. Each of our 20 free workshops will take place in a different municipal ward!
On June 1st, our Street Smarts workshop runs from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Taylor Memorial Library. Please register with the library. This is not a drop-in clinic, and we will not be able to offer bike repair services. It is an educational presentation with a hands-on component.
