Join us for the 2013 edition of the Bells on Danforth ride, a family-friendly, pedal-powered parade along the Danforth to celebrate cycling in Toronto and advocate for better infrastructure in the east end.
This annual group ride starts in East Lynn Park (on Danforth, one block west of Woodbine) at noon on Saturday, May 11. Pre-ride activities in the park include free light tune-ups courtesy of Cycle Solutions, and brief remarks by Councillor Mary-Margaret McMahon (Ward 32, Beaches-East York) and Lynne Gray of community organization Pink Spokes. Our fun ride will take us to Queen's Park, where we'll join groups from Bells on Bloor, Bells on Yonge, and Walk Toronto at the Cycle and Sole rally.
For riders farther east, an additional group will be starting earlier from the intersection of Danforth Ave. and Danforth Rd. in Scarborough to join us at East Lynn Park for the main ride. See the TO35Cycles website for more information about joining this part of the ride.
